The Premier League in England has failed to regulate properly and now as we see Top league clubs going into administration (not to mention the demise of many former proud names) we may realise the experiment can't continue as football is eating itself. <br /><br />How is it healthy when the league's biggest brand (Manchester United) have debts as high as they do?<br /><br />Football is played on a pan European level so it makes sense that to make sure the playing field is level (pardon the pun) that it is regulated at a European level. You should stop trying to portray UEFA as some evil entity trying to get its mits on "our game" in England. It isn't, it has its faults but the Premier League have shown themselves to be inept at truely protecting the interests of Football fans (ask those in Portsmouth)<br /><br />Lastly, look at the way the NFL is regulated. Salary Caps, talent Drafts, revenue sharing...resulting in 8 different winners in 10 years, compare this with the fact that only 4 teams have ever won the Premier League...well...I think you can see my point.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
