In fact, during my debating years, I've only encountered a few nutty fanatics who condemned anything straying from the founding fathers' godlike prescience was apostasy.<br /><br />However, it would seem that the EU institutions are full of such characters, as, indeed, anything not leading to more and more integration is heresy.<br /><br />This is why I sincerely believe that the EU's worse enemy is itself -- it's the mediocre, power-hungry men and women who man it who will be its very own downfall.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
